Introducing Lawn Fawn

Image

We are so happy to carry Lawn Fawn products in the I Love to Scrap Store. They have long been a personal favorite of mine to stamp with since their debut a year and a half ago. Their simple but whimsical style just has so many possibilities. At this Winter’s CHA, they also debuted their new paper line – Bright Side. We are happy to carry the petite paper packs (6×6), selection of the paper offerings, the alpha and the new lawn trimmings in the store, as well as select stamp sets.  If you dont see something you’ve been looking for, just ask, and we’ll happily special order it for you.

EK Sucess – Certified SDU Instructor

As you know I’ve been teaching Scrapbooking for about 6 year now, and was very proud to be a Certified Fiskateer Demonstrator. As that program comes to a close. I am very excited to share with you that I have been recruited to become a Certified Scrapbook Design & You Instructor at Michael’s.

I have completed my training with EKSucess/SDU and am just waiting back to hear from the store manager about officially getting hired by the store so I can schedule classes.

I can’t wait to share more details with you, as I learn them and to document this really cool opportunity with you all.

I am so excited about having the ability to teach people how to document their memories. This is a huge goal of mine and I feel so extremely grateful to share my passion and talent to teach other crafty people the art and importance of scrapbooking.

This is the another step on an awesome journey to doing what I love every single day.

New Product from CHA

Lots of new product is now shipping from Summer CHA, and will continue to do so in the next few weeks. I’ll be adding to the store as it comes in, however if you dont see something you’ve been looking for right away, you can take a look at this catalog here, and let me know..I’ll let you know if i have it on order, or if i can order it especially for you.

Distrezz it All – Flying off the shelves

The new Zutter Distrezz-it-all by Donna Salazar flew off the shelves last weekend..actually it never even made it to the shelves. This tool sold like hotcakes and already had special orders for more. Expect it to be back in stock by Monday, May 18th.

If you havent used this tool..it’s amazing, gone are the hand cramps from using the various distressing tools (making memories, Heidi Swapp, CMTH, Tonic etc) or your scissors. It distresses your paper two ways..soft and chunky. I can wait to make a birthday tag book with some cardboard and rough up the edges..pictures to come!

also on order again are the new colors from Tim Holtz’s Distressing inks..they flew out the door with the Distrezz it all. Do you have a favorite color? I am in love with the Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar and Bundled Sage.

Love seeing all the response to the new product..i’m hoping Sunday or monday after the Lobsterfest hoopla dies down..i can have a little fun of my own..especially with the new Girls Paperie product.

Organization

Whether you’re scrapbooking yourself, or having someone else do it for you, organization is key. There’s nothing like trying to finish a layout, knowing you have a certain embellishment, but can’t find it anywhere in your stash, or wanting to use photos from your wedding and sure to include Aunt Marge doing the lawnmower dance.

Some friends are starting an organization stamping/scrapbooking blog hop this afternoon (4:30 pm PDT), I hope that you’ll check them out, you can start from Leanne’s blog, and follow the hop from there. Be sure to let me know if you find a cool trick along the way, or have a trick of your own.
