Notary Fees changing January 1, 2017

With the passing of AB2217 and signed into law by Governor Brown and recorded with the Secretary of State on August 17, 2016, our fees for signatures will be increasing on January 1, 2017. The fee schedule will be as follows:

-For taking an acknowledgment or proof of a deed, or other instrument, to include the seal and the writing of the certificate, the sum of fifteen dollars ($15) for each signature taken.
-For administering an oath or affirmation to one person and executing the jurat, including the seal, the sum of fifteen dollars ($15).
-For certifying a copy of a power of attorney under Section 4307 of the Probate Code the sum of fifteen dollars ($15)

Our travel fees will remain unchanged at this time.

Notary Services – Christmas

Please note the latest appointment we will be taking for Notary Services on Thursday, December 24th, is Noon.

Christmas Day we will not be scheduling any services as this time.

We will resume normal hours, Saturday, December 26th.

On the Road Again

Please note we will be out of town and unable to perform Notary Services the following dates this summer

  • June 15th – July 6th.
  • July 24-July 27th
  • August 21st-August 23rd (if you’d like to schedule something in North County San Diego during this time period, please arrange your appointment by August 20th at 3pm)

Health Care Directive

Just left the hospital to do a Notary, it’s never to early to have a Healthcare Directive. Be prepared, dont wait until you’re going in the hospital for major surgery.
